Maite Baviera
Quality and Operational Excellence Manager. I help multi-site organisations make quality work the same everywhere and pass any external assessment.
A chemist by training, I started by setting up, from the end of construction, the laboratory of a pioneering biodiesel plant. I later joined healthcare to cover a leave of absence in a health department and stayed for six years. Since then I have repeated the same pattern in four sectors: land in a complex organisation, understand the pace of the business and leave a system that works even when I am no longer in the room.

Operational Excellence Manager · DIGI Spain Telecom
Built the Operational Excellence area from scratch: 4 teams and 50 people. 3 service and billing quality audits by the CNMC (Spanish telecoms regulator) passed with no non-compliances, 15+ commercial processes improved, and alignment with Law 10/2025, UNE-EN ISO 18295 and UNE 338001.

Built the Quality area from scratch (ISO 9001, ISO 21001 and ANECA) and set up quality committees for 21+ degree programmes.

Corporate Quality Projects Lead · Vithas
Corporate Quality Plan across 20 hospitals and 38 centres in 13 provinces during the group's integration; Joint Commission International, ISO 15189 and UNE 179003.

Quality Specialist and Quality Manager · Manises Health Department
EFQM 500+ Seal, 18 sites ISO 9001 certified (the only health department in the Valencia region with every level certified) and two Emergency Department redesigns driven by patient feedback.
